About The Position

Just-Evotec Biologics is seeking a motivated and creative Senior Associate Scientist who desires a significant opportunity to improve worldwide access to biotherapeutics. The new hire will join a fast-paced, collaborative, and multidisciplinary team. As a Senior Associate Scientist in the Analytical Development and Support group, you will execute UPLC, icIEF and CE based separations methods for support of process development, cell line development, and release testing of biotherapeutics. The successful candidate will have experience in late-stage QC and GMP-related background to support the development and release testing of biotherapeutics. Experience with high throughput analytical testing, statistical analysis, and high-performance liquid chromatography is desired. The ideal candidate has strong written and verbal communications skills and works well independently and in teams.

Requirements

• BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field with relevant QC GMP research lab experience
• Experience in chromatography and/or analytical chemistry
• Experience with HPLC and/or UPLC chromatography systems
• Excellent experimental design, method development, and analysis skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office apps (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with GMP-related work in QC or late-stage analytical settings preferred
• Familiarity with capillary electrophoresis
• Experience with troubleshooting complex instrumentation
• Experience with a chromatography data system
• Strength in data science and informatics

Responsibilities

• Work with team members to support process development teams with high-throughput analytical procedures
• Utilize chromatography data systems and informatics platforms to analyze and distribute analytical results
• Work with team members on technology development to reduce the cost and improve efficiency, speed, and capacity of analytical testing and analytical methods
