The Senior Associate Provost for University Libraries and Educational Technologies provides strategic leadership and management of the Academic Commons, which includes University Libraries, Archives and Special Collections, Instructional Design, Educational Technology Support, Media Services, and Professional Writing and Communications teams. This position oversees a budget of over $12 million and direct/indirect management of 68 full- and part-time staff, excluding student workers. The role involves collaborating with university deans to expand educational reach through technology, participating in university research committees, representing the university in national organizations, and ensuring compliance with Department of Education data collection and accreditation requirements. The successful candidate will also work with Information Services and Technology, University Counsel, and assist with student and faculty data collection and management. They will advise the provost on library and educational technology trends, support the Jefferson Health System's information resource needs, and engage in donor relations.
