Senior Associate, Provider Success (ACO)

Stellar HealthNew York, NY
10d$85,000 - $100,000

About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Associate of ACO Provider Success to join our ACO team. You will be working in a "startup within a scale-up" environment. This means leveraging Stellar’s established best practices and resources, but adapting them to fit the specific, high-stakes needs of our at-risk business. You will act as a strategic partner to medical groups, using data to influence behavior and drive performance. You must be comfortable operating in the gray, managing multiple workstreams, and helping us refine our operational playbooks as we scale.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in healthcare operations/strategy, healthtech, or healthcare consulting. Experience with Value-Based Care or ACOs is a plus.
  • Analytical Rigor: You have advanced Excel skills and are comfortable navigating BI tools (Tableau/Looker). You don’t just read charts; you understand what the numbers mean for the business and can explain them to non-technical audiences.
  • Influence & Presence: You have a proven ability to influence stakeholders—from front-office staff to medical directors—to drive behavior change.
  • Resilience & Adaptability: You thrive in dynamic environments. You view operational barriers not as road blocks, but as problems to be solved. You possess a "find a way" attitude.
  • A "Builder" Mindset: You are excited by the prospect of working in a newer business line where processes are still being optimized. You are willing to provide feedback and ideas to help the team grow.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Portfolio Performance: You will manage the end-to-end relationship for a portfolio of Medical Groups. You aren't just driving "app usage"; you are accountable for driving engagement that leads to tangible value-based care outcomes (Quality, Coding, and Total Cost of Care).
  • Data-Driven Storytelling: You will take complex performance data and synthesize it into clear, persuasive narratives. You will build the "case for change" for providers and practice staff, showing them exactly how their workflows impact their financial and clinical performance.
  • Operational Execution & Refinement: You will execute day-to-day operations with precision, but you will also look for ways to do it better. You will help develop and refine internal best practices for practice performance management, ensuring we can scale efficiently.
  • Change Management: You will work directly with practice staff and leadership to integrate the Stellar platform into their daily clinical workflows. You will need to be persistent and strategic to drive adoption in busy medical practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will act as the voice of the provider, translating an in-depth understanding of practice needs into critical insights for our Product, Med Econ, and Operations teams.
