About The Position

The Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment of L3Harris is currently seeking an experienced Senior Associate, Program Manager. This role can be located at their Huntsville, AL (headquarters) or Orange, VA facility. Under supervision, the Senior Associate, Program Manager will assist in leading all phases of programs: planning, execution, strategy, and management. This role assists in driving program action to achieve business and financial objectives for orders, revenue, profit, and cash flow for an existing program. The Senior Associate, Program Manager is responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance for designated project areas, working with a program lead or manager to achieve results. This position acts as a customer contact for program activities, leading review sessions with customers for assigned aspects of proposal development, negotiations, and execution. The role assists in coordinating program support, production, and supply chain teams to ensure on time and on budget deliveries. Specifically, this position will be working as a deputy PM between the D5 LE2 and D5 modernization programs.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Master's degree or have completed their Master's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in leading all phases of programs: planning, execution, strategy, and management.

  • Responsible for management and contract performance of a program or elements of a program.
  • Responsible for complex programs.
  • Manage and direct assigned program, which includes defining and understanding program scope, managing overall schedules and budget in accordance with applicable contractual and Aerojet Rocketdyne policies.
  • Assure through the assigned program team that contract performance responsibility is properly delegated to performing organizations and outside suppliers.
  • Develop and implement plans for follow-on production programs including proposal development, submittal, negotiation, and definitization.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to the project team in meeting established schedules or resolving complex technical or operations problems.
  • Responsible for effectively utilizing functional organizations to integrate research and development, production, quality assurance, test, production support, procurement, contractual and financial data.
