About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a Senior Associate, Production Planning with an active TS/SCI to join our growing team at our Palm Bay location for our Space and Missions Systems segment. This person will work through production with circuit card assembly (CCA) manufacturing process and simultaneously plan multiple CCA builds for multiple programs. Essential Functions: Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle to meet production requirements. Works from engineering plans and production specifications to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Advises management of the status of work in progress, coordinates with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain and interfaces with engineering and program management as well as external customers. Ensures availability of materials and labor to meet production requirements and delivery commitments. Works to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions. Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems and Product Lifecycle Management tools. Familiarity with the circuit card assembly (CCA) manufacturing process and able to simultaneously plan multiple CCA builds for multiple programs. Act as a liaison with material management as the primary representative of the cross-functional CCA hardware team. Ability to organize and manage large amounts of hardware and keep stock under control. Must be able to maintain a safe and orderly work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
• Active TS/SCI
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems and Product Lifecycle Management tools.
• Familiarity with the circuit card assembly (CCA) manufacturing process and able to simultaneously plan multiple CCA builds for multiple programs.

Nice To Haves

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly preferred
• Experience in production planning, scheduling, and control, preferably in a manufacturing environment related to electronics or CCAs.
• Familiarity with the CCA manufacturing process
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing operational efficiency.
• Proficiency with production planning software and systems, such as MES and PLM systems.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Ability to analyze production data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
