This role is within the Emerging Payments - External Integrations team. The External Integrations team is responsible for third-party payments products and experiences that serve customers across the company. This includes Digital Wallets products, Network connections, and external Virtual Card integrations. We manage both the products and relationships with our key third-party partners to simplify the moment of checkout for customers across online and in-person transactions. Our goal is that no matter how a customer chooses to pay, Capital One cards are the most secure and convenient choice. As a Product Manager (Senior Associate level) on our team, you will be responsible for the foundational services that power all of our third-party Digital Wallet products, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. These services include Digital Wallet enrollment, eligibility, and orchestration - which all come together to enable a seamless experience for Capital One customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of product management experience

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering
  • 1+ years of experience with Payments Industry, Digital Wallets, or Network Tokenization
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile product management

Responsibilities

  • Define success for your tech team for the management of enrollment, eligibility, and orchestration across all of third-party Digital Wallets
  • Lead a high performing engineering team in a high visibility role with ownership over your roadmap and the opportunity to make a large impact
  • Identify opportunities to continue improving the experience for customers adding their card to a Digital Wallet, ensuring the process is both seamless and secure
  • Lead the modernization of how we determine eligibility for Digital Wallet users
  • Partner closely with frontend teams to craft, improve, and even re-envision our Digital Wallet customer experiences within our mobile app and website
  • Partner closely with our Network Connections team to ensure the end to end success of Digital Wallet enrollment
  • Engage directly with external Wallet and Network partners, including on shared feature development and road mapping
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders from lines of business across the company to ensure our Digital Wallet products are serving the needs of our internal and external customers
