What You Will Achieve The Pilot Plant Scientist/Engineer will be part of a diverse team of scientists and engineers focused on scale up and optimization of mammalian and bacterial fermentation, purification, and conjugation processes enabling efficient production of toxicology and process development supplies to advance Pfizer’s Bio-therapeutics portfolio. How You Will Achieve Scale-up and development of Pilot Plant processes for non-GMP production. Generation of process batch records. Acquisition of raw materials. Purchase, installation, and start-up of new capital equipment. Mining and evaluation of process data, modeling, and generation of reports to support manufacturing scale-up. Training development personnel for safe and effective operations in the Pilot Plant. Conducting process safety assessments. Collaborate on experimental studies and clinical manufacturing. Contribute to internally reviewed technical reports. Make presentations to scientists and management. Execute operational efficiency improvements. Plan and implement improvements across Bioprocess R&D work processes.
