In anticipation of a potential award focused on strengthening rural health systems through digital health strategies, MCD Global Health is soliciting applications from individuals who are interested and available for employment in early 2026. While the majority of these positions and work activities will be Maine-based, remote candidates will be considered in some instances. Relocation expenses to Maine will not be covered. Core competencies sought for these positions include logistics and procurement, monitoring and evaluation, training and education development and implementation specific to digital health, rural health and health systems strengthening, workforce development and quality improvement. All positions are contingent on confirmation of funding. Salary offers may be higher or lower than the anticipated range listed due to various factors including the successful candidates’ qualifications and geography within or outside of Maine. The Senior Associate - Monitoring and Evaluation will support data-driven public health and health systems strengthening programs. Reporting to the Senior Grants Administrator, this role will contribute to routine monitoring, data analysis, reporting, and learning across health and healthcare initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health or a related field (Master’s preferred or in progress)
  • 1–3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, and/or health program support
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with health and program data
  • Curiosity, attention to detail, and a passion for evidence-based programming
  • Candidates must be based in Maine or willing to relocate

Responsibilities

  • Supporting data collection, cleaning, and quality checks
  • Assisting with indicator tracking, dashboards, and monitoring reports
  • Contributing to evaluations, operational research, and learning activities
  • Supporting donor and internal reporting with accurate, well-documented data
