About The Position

Total Wine & More is seeking a Senior Associate of Marketing Planning and Activation to join our Marketing team in our Bethesda, MD office. This role will support the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that drive focus categories at Total Wine & More. This role is responsible for coordinating channel-level activations for new brand launches, cocktail and THC campaigns, and other priority marketing efforts. The Sr. Associate will also support concepting and development of cocktail and spirits marketing videos. This individual will collaborate with partners across Marketing, Merchandising, and Creative to communicate and implement plans that align with category priorities and support business goals. The Sr. Associate will contribute to campaign planning and execution from concept through delivery, ensuring consistency with objectives and timelines. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Cocktail and Category Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred or equivalent years of experience.
  • 1-4 years marketing or advertising experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Skillful in using Powerpoint as a tool for communication.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to clearly communicate project updates to multiple cross-departmental stakeholders.
  • Passion for process, with desire to find efficient ways to complete tasks.
  • Familiarity with social media content best practices.
  • Understanding of creative briefs and production workflows; skilled in collaborating with designers to develop and deliver assets.

Responsibilities

  • Support wine, spirit, beer, and THC campaigns and category marketing campaigns by managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional inputs.
  • Work with marketing channel owners to compile performance summaries and make recommendations on optimization tactics and strategy.
  • Monitor emerging consumer and category trends and proactively pitch content ideas, keeping the marketing approach fresh and culturally relevant.
  • Support executional elements of brand and product launches—coordinating asset acquisition and creation, channel activations, and internal communications to ensure consistency and flawless execution.
  • Act as a connective tissue between Marketing and Merchandising – supporting follow ups, meeting agendas and notes, cross-functional communication.
  • Assist in the development and production of video content—managing timelines, pre-production, stakeholder communication, and asset delivery.
