About The Position

L3 Harris Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Item Manager to join our logistics team in supporting Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Contractor Inventory Control Point (C-ICP) activities. This position will be supporting the Wideband Satellite Communications Operations and Technical Support II (WSOTS II) Contract. Many of the logistics requirements of this position will require the use of the Raytheon Enhanced Automated Graphical Logistics Environment (EAGLE) tool set. Essential Functions: The Senior Associate, Logistics Engineer duties include but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • Active SECRET security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience working with WEBFLIS and FLITES.
  • Experience with the Disposition process for turn-in to DLA.
  • Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) Certified.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in acquisition life cycle processes and product development.
  • Expert understanding of the C-ICP ELMS implementation guide.
  • Experience developing and presenting logistics product technical documentation and training material.

Responsibilities

  • Manage property within Contractor Inventory Control Point (C-ICP) requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records in systems of record (e.g., Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS), EAGLE, or other accountable property systems).
  • Provide analysis using logistics tools and metrics.
  • Manage equipment from acquisition through sustainment and disposition.
  • Management of supply system parts and entering new parts into the supply system. Including stock listing of all new parts.
  • Provide direction and training for team supporting C-ICP activities.
  • Coordinate repairs, replacements, upgrades, and turn-ins to depot.
  • Ensure inventories are conducted (annual or cyclic).
  • Reconcile discrepancies and initiate adjustment documents when required.
  • Establish baseline inventories during site visits.
  • Validate quantities, serial numbers, locations, and condition codes.
  • Work with supply, transportation, maintenance, and depot activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned equipment.
  • Reaching out to Sources of Supply about equipment management.
