About The Position

Treaty Oak is seeking an Senior Associate, IT to own and oversee the firm’s internal IT function, with a strong emphasis on on-site and remote support, vendor management, and IT asset lifecycle management. This role will serve as the primary internal IT owner and escalation point, while day-to-day helpdesk and basic technical support are delivered through a managed service provider (MSP). The Senior Associate, IT will ensure Treaty Oak employees have reliable, secure, and well-supported technology, while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and service providers. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with Operations, Finance, and leadership to ensure IT systems scale with the business.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT management roles
  • Comfort working directly with executive team
  • Experience managing third-party IT vendors or managed service providers
  • Strong background in IT asset management, procurement, and lifecycle tracking
  • Hands-on experience supporting end users in an on-site, hybrid, and remote office environment
  • Working knowledge of endpoint management, identity and access management, and SaaS-based business tools
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Practical, service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a small to mid-sized organization or fast-growing environment preferred
  • Familiarity with ITIL-based service management practices preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary on-site IT point of contact for Treaty Oak employees, providing hands-on support as needed and coordinating resolution of technical issues. Service Treaty Oak’s remote workforce with the same level of responsiveness as on-site.
  • Manage and oversee the managed service provider (MSP), including performance management, ticket escalation, service quality, and contract oversight
  • Own IT procurement processes, including hardware selection, purchasing, vendor coordination, and cost management
  • Maintain accurate inventory and lifecycle management of all IT assets, including laptops, peripherals, networking equipment, and software licenses
  • Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective, ensuring timely provisioning and deprovisioning of devices, accounts, and access
  • Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation related to asset management, security, and acceptable use. Effectively communicate Policies and changes to users
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify technology needs and recommend practical, scalable solutions
  • Coordinate with vendors on system implementations, upgrades, and renewals
  • Support basic security best practices, including device management, access controls, and coordination with third-party security tools or services
  • Monitor IT spend and contribute to budgeting and forecasting for IT-related expenses
  • Ensure reliable operation of on-site office technology, including networking, conferencing systems, and shared equipment
  • Continuously improve IT processes to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency
