We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Full-Stack Engineer to join our App Engine Core Engineering team. This role is in Jersey City, NJ or New York City, NY. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
• Strong expertise in Core/Advanced Java/Go-Lang
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience in developing and deploying microservices architectures using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Data or similar frameworks with sound knowledge of REST API principles and HTTP protocol
• Familiarity with containerization tools and cloud platforms
• Solid grasp of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile principles

Nice To Haves

• experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications that supports BNY's strategic cloud compute.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and security by adhering to software development best practices and BNY's resilience priorities.
• Contribute to modernization efforts by implementing new technologies and improving existing platforms in alignment with BNY's “Run our Company Better” pillar.
• Collaborate and partner with DevOps in supporting business/technology teams through the application lifecycle from onboarding to platform to running and maintaining applications on the cloud.
