About The Position

As a Sr. Associate, Fulfillment, you will support the day-to-day operations and performance of our third-party fulfillment partners. You’ll work closely with Procurement, Inventory, Last Mile, and our 3PL partners to ensure we consistently deliver against our core fulfillment metrics, including On-Time Ship and Fulfillment Center (FC) accuracy. This role sits at the center of execution, owning communication with our FC partners, identifying opportunities to improve performance, and helping ensure our operations run smoothly at scale. You’ll have a direct impact on getting our food to every dog safely, accurately, and on time.

Requirements

  • You have 3+ years of experience in D2C fulfillment, supply chain, or working with 3PL partners.
  • You have an understanding of warehouse operations, WMS systems, and basic fulfillment flows.
  • You are comfortable working with data and tools such as ERP/OMS systems (e.g., NetSuite) and BI tools (e.g., Looker).
  • You communicate clearly and directly, and are comfortable holding partners accountable while maintaining strong relationships.
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • You take ownership of your work, proactively identify issues, and follow through to resolution.
  • You are naturally curious and enjoy digging into problems to understand root causes and drive improvements.
  • You collaborate effectively across teams (Supply Chain, Finance, IT, etc.) and with external partners.
  • You are comfortable operating in a hands-on, execution-focused role while building toward broader ownership over time.
  • You are able to travel to fulfillment centers (~10%) and support operations outside of standard hours when needed.
  • You love dogs.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze key fulfillment metrics (e.g., On-Time Ship, FC accuracy) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Own day-to-day communication with our 3PL partners, ensuring clear alignment on priorities, performance, and issue resolution.
  • Hold partners accountable to SLAs by tracking performance and driving follow-up on corrective actions.
  • Support management of daily fulfillment operations, including mitigating out-of-stock risk and helping optimize order routing.
  • Document and maintain FC standard operating procedures, identifying gaps and driving incremental improvements.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support new product launches, operational changes, and process updates within our FC network.
  • Work with 3PL partners to identify and resolve root causes of fulfillment-related customer issues.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our end-to-end fulfillment flow and how daily decisions impact throughput, accuracy, and customer experience.
