About The Position

In this position as a Financial Acquisition Analyst, you will support critical financial operations across federal contracts. In this position, you will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial reporting, invoicing, contract tracking, and process improvements. You will work across multiple financial systems, conduct audits, prepare reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. In this position, you will: Complete quality assurance, system uploads, reporting, and provide payment confirmations. Maintain invoicing records, funding documentation, and manage fund tracking for contracts to ensure compliance. Analyze financial documents, resolve discrepancies, and assist with funding modifications and ad hoc financial tasks. Prepare reports for Contract Officers, Contract Officer Representatives, and stakeholders to support informed decision-making. Navigate and leverage financial systems such as FMMI, Sagent, Oracle Studio, and other tools to generate reports and maintain templates. Conduct internal and agency audits to ensure contract usage, funding, and financial compliance. Develop standardized procedures, templates, and tools to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline processes. Train and coordinate team members, driving collaboration, consistency, and process improvements across departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in general finance support with demonstrated expertise.
  • 3 years of experience in Integrated Acquisition System (IAS), Program Loan Cost Expense (PLCE) Management, Sagent, System for Award Management (SAM), and Financial Management Modernization Initiative (FMMI).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications are highly desired, such as the Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
