The Milken Institute is a globally minded, publicly supported, non-partisan, and nonprofit think tank headquartered in Santa Monica, with offices in Washington, DC, New York, London, Abu Dhabi, and Singapore. The Milken Institute’s events and programmatic activities, involve the exchange of ideas with leaders from around the world. The Institute hosts more than 200 events each year, with our annual flagship event, Global Conference, bringing together 4,500+ participants from around the world, featuring more than 900+ speakers throughout 200+ sessions over the course of the event.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or a related business field required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); ADP and Toggl Track experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage and analyze large datasets with a focus on integrity and actionable insights
  • Self-starter and hard worker displaying high productivity and follow-through in all areas of responsibility
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure accurate time tracking and recording against key business initiatives, utilizing time tracking tool
  • Onboard new team members onto time tracking tool, and ensure compliance with system requirements
  • Document standard system best practices and facilitate trainings in partnership with external system vendor
  • Prepare and present regular reporting to senior team members to illustrate business initiative profitability trends, and tool compliance 
  • Identify opportunities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of time tracking, streamlining workflows
  • Support finance team with additional tasks as requested
