The Finance Rotation Program (FRP) is Capital One's oldest Students and Grads Program dedicated to attracting and developing future finance leaders within Capital One's finance org. The FRP team is looking for a Sr. Associate to focus on Talent Development within the FRP including supporting our engagement model for our people leaders and our robust performance and talent management processes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing new talent as well as proven experience in leading projects in a well-managed way. You should be excited about the opportunity to influence strategic decisions using a data-backed approach. We are looking for team-players who are solution-oriented, are comfortable working in some ambiguity, and have excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Strong empathetic communication skills with varying levels of leaders and associates
  • Ability to quickly and effectively adapt to change
  • Proven problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to embrace new systems and process enhancements
  • Willingness to work flexible hours due to varying needs within the program
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity when interacting with all customer contacts
  • Associate's degree or military experience
  • At least 1 year of experience working in program or project management or at least 1 year of working in employee development or HR or a combination of both

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least two years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or consulting
  • Proficient knowledge of G Suite with strong skills in Google Sheets and Google Slides
  • Experience interpreting metrics and trends
  • Experience in Campus Programs or Recruiting
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity when interacting with all customer contacts
  • Strong empathetic communication skills with varying levels of leaders and associates

Responsibilities

  • Execute the talent and performance management processes and proactively monitor performance trends and outcomes
  • Interacting with HR partners, stakeholders, and managers to keep all informed and supported through performance and talent processes
  • Help to improve Talent & Performance Management processes and resources
  • Lead our allocation and rotation role placements for our FRP associates including education, communication and execution
  • Own the end-to-end execution of our people leader engagement and communication
  • Assists in program health surveys, including survey design, distribution, analysis, and presenting stakeholder-ready insights and recommendations to program leadership to inform future program roadmap around best practices.
  • Support off cycle people leader changes to ensure the highest level of support for our program associates.
  • Execute and support the FRP extended support network including our Development Advisors and Class Champs.
