About The Position

As a Senior Associate, Engineering Services, you will be involved with, testing, and design integration for cutting-edge aerospace and defense technologies. You will drive strategic initiatives, mentor engineers, and provide technical leadership to ensure compliance with rigorous industry standards such as MIL-STD-461 and DO-160. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the future of our products, ensuring they meet and exceed performance expectations in demanding environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) from an ABET-accredited university program.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Existing DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Working experience in MIL-STD-461, DO-160, and other industry standards for electromagnetic compatibility
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of mentoring engineers and driving complex technical projects
  • Hands-on experience with EMI/EMC test equipment, simulations, and mitigation techniques
  • Deep understanding of electromagnetic physics, materials science, and shielding technologies
  • Ability to support weekends, extended, alternate or second shift operations with little advance notice.
  • Travel <10%

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) theory, signal integrity, and power quality
  • Experience in using Spectrum Analyzers, EMI receivers, signal generators, RF power meters, RF amplifiers, and antennas, etc
  • Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting of EMI/EMC issues, recommending and implementing innovative solutions
  • Evaluate and select materials, components, and shielding techniques to enhance EMI/EMC performance
  • Review technical reports, test documentation, and compliance certifications for internal and external stakeholders
  • Engage with regulatory bodies, customers, and industry groups to stay ahead of evolving standards and best practices in EMI/EMC engineering
  • Support audits, reviews, and compliance activities to ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory obligations
  • Communicate EMI/EMC requirements and solutions to stakeholders and customers
  • Participate in customer meetings and presentations to showcase EMI/EMC capabilities and solutions
