About The Position

The Corporate Systems Engineering team builds the platforms and integrations that power firmwide corporate functions across multiple lines of business. We design and run the systems that enable Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and other enterprise teams to operate reliably and at scale. Our work lives at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and platform integration. We focus on building systems that are secure, resilient, and production-ready. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate Engineer with deep software engineering expertise and strong platform integration skills. This role is ideal for someone who has written production code, deployed to cloud environments, integrated with SaaS platforms, and supported systems in real-world operations. You’ll build services and integrations end-to-end—from design and implementation through deployment and ongoing support. You’ll work closely with architects, platform engineers, and infrastructure teams, but this is a hands-on engineering role with real ownership and accountability.

Requirements

  • Identify as a developer, not just a systems or infrastructure engineer
  • Have built and operated systems in cloud and enterprise environments
  • Care about code quality, reliability, and real-world operations
  • Enjoy working across application, platform, and infrastructure boundaries
  • Want ownership and impact

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design of modern application and integration architectures that support scalability, reliability, security, and long-term maintainability.
  • Implement technology patterns (APIs, event-driven, serverless, SaaS integrations, data pipelines) following established standards.
  • Create technical documentation including design docs, diagrams, and implementation notes.
  • Translate technical designs into working implementations and deployment-ready code.
  • Participate in architectural reviews and apply engineering best practices.
  • Provide input on technical decisions and implementation approaches.
  • Understand technology infrastructure at an enterprise level.
  • Build production-grade services, integrations, and automation using Python and JavaScript, serverless patterns, and modern frameworks.
  • Develop integrations with SaaS and third party platforms using APIs, webhooks, and event-driven workflows.
  • Implement and support AWS-based solutions (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudWatch).
  • Follow engineering best practices including testing strategies, code quality, observability, and documentation.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Develop and support data workflows leveraging Snowflake, Databricks, and SQL-based pipelines.
  • Implement data models, optimize SQL queries, and build secure data access patterns.
  • Build integrations and pipelines using AWS services (Lambda, S3, Glue) and orchestration tools.
  • Collaborate with data platform teams to ensure governance, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Contribute to the implementation, integration, and enhancement of proprietary and SaaS applications supporting corporate functions.
  • Participate in platform development, release planning, and modernization efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal and external engineering teams to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions.
  • Work with vendors and evaluate new technologies to support team objectives.
  • Contribute to complex technical initiatives using Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and within scope.
  • Communicate progress, technical challenges, and implementation details to team members and stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and escalate blockers and dependencies.
