About The Position

The Senior Associate will assist with executing sales enablement and business development support for the Direct Lending Originations Team. This is an internally facing role supporting the Direct Lending Originations Team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Developing strong relationships with Originators and providing them with best-in-class reporting and presentations to engage private equity (“PE”) sponsors Utilizing CRM data to build insightful reporting on covered sponsors; managing and monitoring the CRM system to ensure data accuracy in collaboration with the DL Data Team Conducting market intelligence to find relevant insights for the Originators and tracking competitor data such as people moves, fundraising, spin-offs and new businesses Creating, updating and distributing proprietary reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis aimed at business development; responding to all ad-hoc business requests Managing recurring content updates to marketing materials and supporting meeting and event prep needs Act as point person to lead expansion of DLBD team coverage focused on internal Credit Opportunities and GP-Led Secondaries teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role; financial services industry or B2B background preferred
  • Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy and drive to deliver high-quality work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely and communicate effectively
  • Advanced in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to analyze data and create a narrative using data
  • Proactive mentality and ability to anticipate needs of the business
  • High energy and self-motivation
  • Proven ability to work well as part of a team
  • Strong project management capabilities

Responsibilities
