About The Position

We are growing our Retail Bank data program management team in order to support our mission to become the real-time, intelligent Bank of the future. We're looking for an analytically-minded project manager who can help organize and inspire an organization of over 150 experienced and dedicated data professionals including Data Scientists, Analysts, Product Managers, Project and Process Managers, and Executive Support. As a Senior Associate, Data Project Management at Capital One, you will drive clarity in our integration-focused projects for Retail Bank's Data, Decisions, and AI team. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
• At least 2 years of Agile Delivery experience utilizing Scrum, Kanban or SAFe methodologies
• At least 3 years of experience in Project Management, Risk Management, Process Management, or a combination

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• 1+ year of Google Suite experience

Responsibilities

• Provide unambiguous project management support for our data integration work as part of the Discover + Capital One merger
• Assist our Product and Tech teams in providing clear reporting and risk escalation for our program plan
• Leading moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reports
• Designing, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements
• Ensuring projects are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered on time
• Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent
• Partnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
• Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
• Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts
• Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment
• Display a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates through their leadership style
• Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
