The Third-Party Security (TPS) team within American Express’ Technology Risk and Information Security (TRIS) organization is a high-energy, results-driven group dedicated to reducing cybersecurity risk across the company’s third-party ecosystem. TPS manages key functions related to management of third parties including information security due diligence, contracting, ongoing monitoring, and reporting. This role is part of the contracting function, and it entails supporting TPS’s cybersecurity risk strategy and roadmap while supporting complex contract negotiations. As a primary responsibility you will lead the documentation, management, tracking, and reporting of Third-Party Security’s multi-year cyber risk strategy and roadmap. Additionally, you will partner with TRIS Risk SMEs, General Counsel’s Office (GCO), and Global Supply Management (GSM) to support modernization of Information Protection Contract Requirements (IPCR) template and processes. Lastly, you will partner with GCO, TRIS Risk SMEs, Third-Party Relationship Managers (TRMs), and GSM, to support negotiation of IPCR in contracts with third parties.
