Requirements

  • Minimum two years of ultra-high net worth individual and/or trust and estate tax experience in an accounting firm and/or law firm
  • Bachelors degree, J.D., LL.M. in taxation and/or Master?s in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university
  • Deep experience with individual income tax and/or gift tax, estate tax and trust taxation; multi-generational estate planning experience is a plus
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams
  • Excellent advisory, compliance, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information

Responsibilities

  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to owners and senior executives of KPMGs private client base which focuses on ultra-high net worth individual, trust and estate clients
  • Prepare complex individual income, gift, trust and estate tax returns for ultra-high net-worth individuals and Family Offices
  • Manage a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope and act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects
  • Advise clients and be responsible for delivering high quality tax service and advice
  • Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm
