About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Audit and Assurance Team! As a Senior Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with the team and to lead the financial statement engagements of our clients. Obtain a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives, and utilize that knowledge to perform engagement procedures. Clearly and adequately prepare a variety of working papers and financial statements for engagement quality control review. Develop and perform effective analytical procedures on account balances. Effectively work independently, as well as within a team. Maintain open communication with engagement management regarding questions, issues that arise, and the progress of completion of projects. Maintain and develop client relationships by providing exceptional client services. Execute feedback to minimize duplication of procedures and apply new concepts. Availability to travel to clients within the Atlanta Metro area. (less than 20% travel).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Licensed CPA or CPA Candidate
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Thomson Reuters Advance Flow or CaseWare
