About The Position

The Senior Associate Athletic Director, Student Life is responsible for overseeing the student-athlete development and life skills program at the University of Pittsburgh. The position involves implementing strategic planning, developing new programs, and evaluating the effectiveness of existing initiatives.

Requirements

• Master's degree required.
• 7 years of experience in student-athlete development related work.

Nice To Haves

• 10+ years of experience in student-athlete development, including leadership experience at the Division 1 level.
• Experience overseeing and developing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging programming for student-athletes and staff.

Responsibilities

• Implement and conduct a developmental life skills program for student-athletes.
• Develop and enhance programs focused on key commitment areas of the Cathy and John Pelusi Family Life Skills Program.
• Lead a team and collaborate to enhance efforts in student-athlete development.
• Develop and implement strategic planning and departmental goals.
• Evaluate the success and effectiveness of programs.
