About The Position

FP2030 is the only global partnership dedicated exclusively to advancing rights-based family planning. The partnership brings together governments, civil society, multilaterals, donors, the private sector, and other stakeholders to expand access to voluntary, rights-based family planning information and services. By situating family planning at the intersection of global health, development, and gender equality agendas, FP2030 works to support the rights of women and girls to decide freely and for themselves whether, when, and how many children to have. FP2030 also serves as a platform for convening, coordination, information sharing, and collective action across the broader sexual and reproductive health and rights community. FP2030 is hosted by the UN Foundation based in Washington, DC. The Senior Associate reports to the Senior Director, Global Advocacy and provides support to both the Global Advocacy and Global Communications teams. The role focuses on strengthening coordination across advocacy and communications efforts and supporting FP2030’s engagement with partners across the global family planning ecosystem. The Senior Associate contributes to the planning and delivery of global meetings, events, publications, and webinars, working closely with regional hubs and global partners to support coordinated engagement and consistent messaging across the FP2030 Support Network. The position also supports FP2030’s engagement with Non-Governmental Actor commitment makers and helps manage partnerships across civil society, philanthropy, academia, and the private sector. The Senior Associate leads coordination with the faith community, including supporting the Faith and Family Planning Working Group, and contributes to FP2030’s anti-rights response efforts through coordination with partners addressing opposition to sexual and reproductive health and rights. The role also provides administrative, budget, and logistical support for advocacy and communications activities, including coordination of meetings, events, reports, and day-to-day operational needs across both teams. This position is based in Washington, D.C. (Hybrid Schedule)
