About The Position

The Senior Associate, Administrative Legal Support at Sallie Mae is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the legal, corporate communications, and public policy teams, as well as senior management. This role focuses on ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, managing administrative tasks, and developing policies and procedures to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to senior management and legal teams managing litigation, contracts, and corporate finance matters.
  • Schedule meetings, manage complex calendars, and prepare for meetings, including document processing and travel arrangements.
  • Assist with financial tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking, and liaise with third-party vendors.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to administrative matters and record maintenance.
  • Oversee management of office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with administrative support peers to ensure excellent customer service and compliance with company policies.
