Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
2-5 years of accounting experience
Adaptability – maintains effectiveness in varying environments, tasks and responsibilities, or with various types of people
Planning and Organizing – ability to establish a course of action to accomplish goals and evaluate results
Ability to multitask, work successfully under pressure, and effectively prioritize and manage time and workload to meet client needs

Microsoft Office Suite knowledge, specifically Excel

Experience with Real Estate Accounting and specific software including Yardi and MRI

Responsibilities

Independently manage financial reporting processes including journal entries, financial statement preparation, actual to budget variance review, and bank reconciliations in accordance with client requirements.
Prepare timely and accurate monthly property financial statements for a complex multi-property portfolio for presentation to and by the deadlines established by JLL clients.
Complete and submit financial statements and work papers in reviewable form and within the proper time frame for review.
Serve as accounting resource for property teams, providing guidance on procedures and responding to questions from clients.
Oversee property-level cash management processes including bank reconciliations, critical payment processing, reimbursements to JLL, timely recording of cash receipts, and fraud prevention protocols.
Participate in monthly calls with JLL Property Management and clients, as well as internal and external audits.
Support your manager by assisting with the training and guidance of more junior team members.
