The Senior Assistant Store Manager is a crucial role, ensuring the highest level of customer service satisfaction within the car wash operation.

Requirements

  • Goal-driven leader with strong, clear communication
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience (service industry strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to develop teams, build relationships, and drive results through others
  • Ability to own and drive performance, including memberships, upsells, and conversions
  • Ability to hold the team accountable to daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
  • Ability to coach team members on sales behaviors and execution
  • Ability to monitor key performance metrics and act quickly to improve
  • Ability to lead from the front, engage customers, and model the sales process daily
  • Proactive operator who plans ahead and consistently meets deadlines
  • Customer-focused mindset with pride in running a high-performing location
  • Strong listener with solid organization, problem-solving, and follow-through
  • Team-first mentality with a positive, accountable attitude
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and peak business hours
  • Comfortable working 8–10 hour shifts, including opening and closing
  • Ability to step in and lead the operation in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Confident with computers, POS systems, and basic reporting tools
  • Strong attention to detail and seeing things through to completion are a must
  • Good attitude and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive sales performance, including memberships, upsells, and conversions
  • Hold the team accountable to daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
  • Coach team members on sales behaviors and execution, not just outcomes
  • Monitor key performance metrics (conversion rate, ticket average, retention) and act quickly to improve
  • Lead from the front, engage customers, and model the sales process daily
  • Communicate company goals and expectations clearly to the team
  • Recognize performance and coach opportunities in real time
  • Investigate and resolve customer questions, problems, or complaints
  • Ensure the growth of the business and stay committed to the company’s success
  • Step in and lead the operation in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Communicate with SSC on site needs, issues, and opportunities
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained work environment at all times
