Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement the technical set-up of each new financial aid processing year in PeopleSoft.
  • Assist with daily management of technical PeopleSoft operations, including running and maintaining multiple processing reports.
  • Implement strategic initiatives focused on improvements in efficiency, streamlining processes, and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of the student communications process, including developing forms and training manuals.
  • Monitor day-to-day operations of the Financial Aid Office and assist in developing financial aid policies and procedures.
  • Oversee daily PeopleSoft functions and resolve problems when necessary.
  • Supervise personnel, including work allocation, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Oversee specific financial aid programs such as verification, Federal Work-study, and Direct Loans.
  • Complete annual financial aid reports including HPL Annual Operating Reports and FISAP.
  • Manage fiscal budgets for Title IV programs and institutional funds.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers to facilitate communication and cooperation.
  • Serve on university and community committees and task forces.
  • Coordinate the development and management of computer systems and projects.
