About The Position

Are you ready to take the next step in your leadership career? Mission Fed is looking for a Senior Assistant Branch Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, member-focused environment. In this role, you’ll lead a dynamic team of Tellers and Universal Service Representatives (USRs) to deliver exceptional service and drive sales success. You’ll also partner closely with the Branch Manager to execute strategies that support our credit union’s growth and member experience goals—and step in as acting Branch Manager when needed. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent (experience may substitute for education).
  • 4+ years in financial services, including sales, lending, and operations.
  • 2+ years in a supervisory role with proven success in coaching and team development.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze credit reports and understand lending processes.
  • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office; Symitar experience is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Notary Public Commission or Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) certification—or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Results: Implement sales strategies, monitor performance, and motivate your team through regular coaching and feedback.
  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Model Mission Fed’s service standards and handle escalated member situations with professionalism and care.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance, safety, and operational controls are in place while supporting branch efficiency.
  • Community Engagement: Represent Mission Fed at local events and foster relationships that grow our member base.
  • Be a Trusted Partner: Assist with lending, new accounts, and branch operations to ensure seamless member experiences.
