YOUR DAY TO DAY: Printed Circuit Board Assembly. The individual will be working on complex electrical and mechanical assemblies. Duties include working from production assembly drawings, schematics, part lists, wiring diagrams and following verbal instructions. Will perform soldering on surface mount and through-hole components by using a microscope, along with mechanical assembly using pliers, wire strippers, torque wrenches and other mechanical tools that are required. Conformal coating of PCB's. The ability to check own work for conformance to workmanship standards and inspection criteria. Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment and be responsible for a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have 5-8 years' experience of electrical and mechanical assembly
  • Must be able to read and understand prints, schematics, parts lists, wiring diagrams, polarities, color codes, etc.
  • This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a "U.S. Person" as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Nice To Haves

  • J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certification desirable
  • Ability to work with engineering on prototypes, mark-ups, and complex electro-mechanical assemblies
