About The Position

As a Senior Art Director, you will lead all design initiatives and product launches while overseeing the visual identity of the Conair brand. You love all stages of the creative process—from initial ideation and layout construction to crafting dazzling concept decks. Presenting to clients is your "jam," and you excel at bringing innovative ideas to life in ways that define a brand and connect with shoppers. Working closely with the ACD (Copy) and the broader design team, you will direct large-scale photoshoots and create best-in-class digital experiences. This role is perfect for a visionary who is equally comfortable building mood boards as they are managing the fine details of a high-volume SKU pipeline.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of proven art direction and design experience in an agency or brand space.
  • Strong background in Brand ID, design, eCommerce, fashion, CPG, and digital shopping.
  • Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Figma or Sketch.
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to inspire others and sell a creative vision.
  • Strong grasp of design fundamentals, including typography, color, hierarchy, and user experience

Nice To Haves

  • motion graphics experience is a plus.
  • A robust portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and flawless execution across recent projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design initiatives and product launches for Conair, ensuring every project meets a high craft bar and reflects the big-picture brand vision.
  • Direct large-scale photoshoots and video shoots, including the development of shot lists, style references, and mood boards.
  • Oversee and direct retouching with the studio team to ensure final delivery is polished and consistent.
  • Bring a passion for the Beauty and Food space, using category-specific insights to drive compelling creative.
  • Partner tightly with DEX/Strategy, and Account/Ops to align on content hierarchy and approvals, and to ensure copy and visuals ladder up to the creative direction; mentor junior design talent by delegating, editing, and raising craft through clear feedback.
  • Build best-in-class PDP (Product Detail Page) experiences that drive purchase intent by seamlessly blending visuals and copy.
  • Use data and feedback to continually improve and evolve digital content, ensuring it stays effective across the eCom landscape.
  • Maintain pixel-perfect attention to detail while managing multiple client projects and demanding deadlines simultaneously.
  • Extend campaign and product narratives across channels: design and adapt visuals for retail placements, paid/social modules, email/CRM, and other brand touchpoints—ensuring the message stays consistent while the execution fits each format.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Studio, and Conair stakeholders to ensure visual direction aligns to product truth and required disclosures—supporting related needs like packaging/IB language, toolkits, social/paid modules, and other retail content as the program expands.
  • Manage and oversee the PDP designer, providing clear guidance and finding efficiencies between the design and studio teams.
  • Interpret and implement visual brand guides, translating them effectively throughout all brand communications.
  • Utilize organizational tools like Airtable and Digital Asset Management (DAM) programs to manage content and dynamic creation workflows.
