How we LEAD: The REPUBLIC Collective is looking for a Senior Art Director, Creative & Design to join their Creative Collective department and contribute to the creative campaigns for the artists on our roster.

Requirements

3-7 years’ experience
Robust portfolio demonstrating a mastery of art direction, design, branding, communication and storytelling
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite design software, in particular Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator (After Effects & Premiere are a plus)
Hands-on design skills demonstrating a range of visual styles and experience conceptualizing and designing for print, including packaging
Experience working directly with talent and creators to collaborate on campaigns
Strong project management skills: experience with high-volume workloads and managing multiple projects in parallel
Must be self-motivated, proactive, and have the ability to work under pressure
Ability to receive and act on constructive feedback given in the creative process
Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to interface with different departments, as well as leadership across the organization and with artist teams

Responsibilities

Provide art direction across campaigns, release artwork, artist imaging, packaging, marketing assets and other materials for the REPUBLIC Collective label artist roster
Hands-on design of (but not limited to) release artwork, music packaging, marketing collateral, social assets, internal communications, mood boards and presentations
Commission photo shoots and negotiate rates for photographers, stylists, make-up artists, and hair stylists; and manage shoot budgets
Provide art direction to internal and freelance creative talent such as designers, animators, directors and photographers
Work collaboratively internally and externally to bring artist vision and campaign narratives to life
Ensure timely delivery of assets and management of deadlines
Bring knowledge and understanding of culture, music, trends and the current creative landscape
