About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architectural Millwork Engineer to lead the drafting and engineering of high-end architectural millwork, custom cabinetry, and luxury residential furnishings. This role combines advanced technical design expertise with team leadership and cross-functional coordination from concept development through fabrication and installation. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of custom millwork construction, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to precision and quality execution.

Requirements

Extensive experience in architectural millwork, custom cabinetry, and fine joinery
Strong understanding of integrated hardware systems, appliance coordination, and specialty materials
Proven leadership experience managing drafting or engineering teams
High-level proficiency in drafting software and millwork engineering tools
Strong attention to detail and organizational discipline
Professional, client-facing communication skills
Ability to manage multiple luxury residential projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

Draft and engineer detailed shop drawings for client approval and production
Lead, mentor, and review work from drafting team members, including redlines and QA oversight
Coordinate closely with project management, field teams, and fabrication departments to maintain schedules and quality standards
Develop material lists, parts breakdowns, and fabrication documentation
Perform shop inspections to ensure adherence to engineering and design standards
Update as-built drawings and confirm constructability throughout production
Support seamless communication between design, engineering, and manufacturing teams
