We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Architectural Designer who is passionate about the design process, to join our team in Houston, TX and support the growth of our Mission Critical Division. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field, plus 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to develop presentation drawings (colored site plan and elevations) and construction drawings is required
  • Revit experience is required
  • Experience in standard Microsoft & Adobe Suite software (Photoshop, Word, etc.) experience is preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in mission critical (data center) design is preferred but not required
  • AutoCAD and Lumion/Sketchup experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist with site and space planning for construction project managers
  • Research building codes, local zoning, and business park covenants
  • Prepare presentation drawings, diagrams, and renderings to clearly convey design ideas
  • Review project scope with construction project managers
  • Produce architectural documents for permit submittal and construction
  • Review and coordinate construction documents with construction project managers and consultants
  • Develop preliminary designs into construction documents
