Position Overview Woolpert is hiring a Senior Architect to join our growing team contributing to exciting projects within the region and across the nation. Project types include multifamily, K-12, higher education, municipal, and private market developments. This position reports to the Architectural Regional Team Leader and supports hybrid or in office work out of our Charlotte, NC office. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution required
  • Minimum of 8 years of work experience
  • Professional license required
  • Skilled in Autodesk Revit and Bluebeam
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc
  • Experience with projects with high technical and performance demands
  • Experience crafting quality architectural drawing sets and project manuals

Responsibilities

  • Drive project execution, along with the project manager, working closely with clients, consultants, team members, and other project contributors.
  • Guide and manage a team of architects, engineers, and production staff to deliver innovative projects that exceed client expectations.
  • Lead research into relevant code, materials and systems, and client-specific prompts, leveraging derived insights to create unique and innovative design solutions.
  • Develop thoughtful technical solutions and manage the delivery of clear and concise project documentation.
  • Seek opportunities to contribute to design excellence by playing an active role in a collaborative design process.
