About The Position

BL Companies is seeking a Senior Architect to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive, collaborative mindset and a dedication to mentoring junior staff. The Senior Architect will collaborate closely with Senior Project Managers and other disciplines to deliver outstanding architectural services to clients, taking a leadership role in managing the technical aspects of design and documentation across multiple projects.

Requirements

15+ years of experience in architectural production for commercial, retail, or industrial projects.
Proficiency in Revit and experience with construction documentation required.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

Professional registration (RA) strongly preferred.
Experience with construction administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the technical design and production process from concept through construction.
Coordinate and oversee project teams to deliver design solutions that meet client specifications, with a strong emphasis on detailing and constructability.
Serve as the technical authority and primary resource for project teams and clients.
Ensure quality assurance and control of construction documents, focusing on detail accuracy and buildability.
Mentor and support the growth of junior staff through hands-on guidance and technical training.
Contribute to a collaborative project environment and uphold BL Companies' values of accountability, proactivity, and integrity.
