About The Position

The Senior Architect is responsible for working with multiple stakeholders and guide the architectural team during the design/construction process. Architect will have three main customers: the Client, Discipline Design Leads, and Exyte Management team. Will interface daily primarily with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to: Project Management Team, Architects, Design Leads, QA/QC Manager, and the Architectural Discipline Lead. Trains and develops Architectural Designers in all processes/procedures/standards Coordinates, guides, and oversees the team to achieve the correct technical solutions to difficult design and client problems Reviews architectural drawings for completeness, constructability, and coordination Collaborates with design and technical teams while supporting or leading the development of design deliverables from studies to Construction Documents, including drawings and specifications Maintains primary accountability for all architectural designs, sharing design responsibility Mentors Interns and junior members of project teams Participates in the development of office standards and procedures Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Architectural License (AIA) required
  • Exhibit characteristics of a leader
  • Strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Be capable of enjoying the work and keeping a positive attitude in a challenging environment
  • Knowledgeable and productive in the Autodesk Building System Software work environment
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and be a proactive problem solver
  • Understands Standard Installation Details, client BIM standards, industry drafting and design standards
  • Demonstrable proficiency with Autodesk Building Systems Software
  • Adept at interfacing with and aligning multiple stakeholders with diplomacy
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and be a proactive problem solver

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s in Architecture preferred
  • LEED® AP with Specialty or GA (Green Associate) preferred
  • Nation Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Certificate recommended
  • Revit experience is highly desirable
  • Previous experience with large projects helpful, but not necessary
  • Experience with SketchUp/Formit is desirable
  • Executing projects utilizing Autodesk Building System Software
  • Experience with Design-Build a plus
  • Experience managing teams utilizing Autodesk Building Systems Software Experience with Design-Build a plus
