About The Position

SNHA, A Woolpert Company is seeking a Senior Architect for our Mission Critical team. This position would be aligned with our offices located in Chicago, IL, New York City, NY and/or Charlotte, NC and would support full-time in-person/hybrid, and remote working arrangements. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution and have a minimum of 8 years of work experience.
  • Enjoys solving problems and finds fulfillment in the creation of beautiful things.
  • Is intellectually curious by nature and seeks to continually learn and improve.
  • Values diversity of perspectives and talents and actively seeks opportunities to provide and receive mentorship.

  • Possess excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Has experience with projects with high technical and performance demands.
  • Has practice crafting quality architectural drawing sets and project manuals.
  • Is skilled in Autodesk Revit and Bluebeam.
  • Has experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Drive project execution, along with the project manager, working closely with clients, consultants, team members, and other project contributors.
  • Guide and manage a team of architects, engineers, and production staff to deliver innovative projects that exceed client expectations.
  • Lead research into relevant code, materials and systems, and client-specific prompts, leveraging derived insights to create unique and innovative design solutions.
  • Develop thoughtful technical solutions and manage the delivery of clear and concise project documentation.
  • Seek opportunities to contribute to design excellence by playing an active role in a collaborative design process.
