About The Position
We are looking for a Senior Applied Scientist I to join our Recommendations organization in order to help enable product teams across Etsy to understand, personalize, and rank recommendations that we present to buyers. As an Applied Scientist, you will work closely with Software Engineers to build custom machine-learning models in the domain application of Recommendations, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Information Retrieval. We are looking for individuals who are product & technology driven, and are passionate about making ML innovations in areas such as: Ranking, Optimization, Deep Learning, Graph Learning, and Reinforcement Learning to help improve the Etsy buyer/seller search experience! This is a full-time position reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager.
