About The Position

The Senior Applications Analyst oversees the implementation and maintenance of WelbeHealth's core and emerging technologies, including but not limited to EMR, CRM, and home-based technologies and initiatives. This role will design and evaluate new technologies, proactively diagnose and resolve problems, provide end user assistance, support strategy, complete table creation and configuration, and keep our enterprise technologies up to date. The Senior Applications Analyst will scope, plan, and carry out new technology projects and initiatives following the direction and prioritization of the VP, IT Applications, and involving key stakeholders This role is different because the Senior Applications Analyst at WelbeHealth: Directly supports the PACE care model, ensuring EMR, CRM, and home-based technologies enable interdisciplinary teams to deliver life-changing care that helps frail seniors remain safely in their homes and communities, unlike traditional IT roles focused solely on system performance Goes beyond maintenance - leads new market EMR configurations, partners cross-functionally with clinical and operations leaders, scopes enterprise technology initiatives, and drives data-informed improvements in a rapidly expanding, highly regulated healthcare organization We care about our team members. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; professional experience may be substituted; master’s degree in relevant field preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in technology solutions value creation such as product management, consulting, or business analysis in a data-driven, fast-paced, high-growth setting
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with healthcare applications and technologies including:
  • Five (5) years of electronic health record system management experience (athenahealth desired)
  • Two (2) years of CRM or care management application experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required; PowerBI is a plus
  • Strong data analytics and visualization skills required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a healthcare delivery environment with a track record of building strong relationships with clinical stakeholders and external partners

Nice To Haves

  • five (5) or more years of experience in healthcare applications and electronic health record systems, with a proven track record of communicating and building strong relationships with clinical stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Work independently to research, define, plan, and implement new EMR technology projects following the guidance and prioritization of the VP, IT Applications
  • Ensure EMR and integrated applications align with business requirements and systems goals, meet end-user needs, and identify and solve systems problems
  • Manage EMR application product updates, feature customization and improvement, maintenance, support (service desk tickets), troubleshooting, and customer service
  • Lead configuration, planning, and execution of WelbeHealth’s EMR and related applications needs for new market entry (launch)
  • Collaborate with the Training team to ensure new technologies, changes, and updates are included in training materials and curricula
  • Perform workflow assessments, design workflows to match business requirements, provide additional training and demos, and provide remote support on core technologies when needed
  • Evaluate existing EMR and EMR-related technologies used in operations and identify opportunities for increasing value creation and developing process improvement plans accordingly
