About The Position

The senior Application Analyst plays a critical role in the successful implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise applications within the healthcare setting. Under the direction of the Director of Applications, this position leads and manages application projects, serving as the primary point of contact for both clinical and administrative stakeholders. The analyst is responsible for system configuration, policy development, workflow analysis, testing, training, and end-user support to ensure applications align with organizational goals and improve patient care delivery. This role requires strong collaboration with hospital departments, physicians, nurses, and third-party vendors to ensure successful outcomes. The Senior Analyst will also monitor system performance, analyze data to support quality improvement initiatives, and recommend enhancements that increase efficiency and user satisfaction. Effective communication, leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential, as this role is instrumental in translating operational needs into functional technology solutions that drive innovation across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Systems, Computer Science, Nursing, Logistics, Statistics or equivalent discipline is desired.
  • Minimum of 3 years exposure to the healthcare industry or applicable area of concentration.
  • Knowledge of information systems analysis.
  • Experience with report writing tools and methodologies or Advanced Excel Analysis.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Experience in full life cycle system development projects.
  • Completed work on a major application effort that involved the entire implementation from start to finish.
  • Ability to lead groups to map workflows.
