Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Nursing, Business, Systems, or related field or Five (5) years healthcare financial or clinical experience
• Two (2) years healthcare financial, clinical systems, or training experience (with B.S. Degree)
• Excellent reporting, problem solving, analytical, interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills
• Understanding Radiation Oncology operations and workflows
• Proficient in Mosaic and Aria software applications
• Lead projects to include upgrades, onboarding of new applications and EMR integration
• Cerner knowledge
• Understanding of data flows and associated technologies, ie. HL7, API, AI
• Knowledge of application servers, including topology and system architecture
• Maintain knowledge base, application documentation
• Ability to communicate clearly with end-users and department leaders

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for information systems for a multi-facility radiation oncology department
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all hospital financial or clinical applications
• Assist in the coordination of design, development, build, testing, implementation, training, upgrades, support, and overall system management of all hospital financial or clinical applications
• Act as a Project Manager for the implementation of new Systems
• Maintain an issues work list and conduct regular and thorough follow-up with interested parties
• Provide primary support and maintenance for core financial or clinical systems as determined by the Applications Coordinator or Manager
• Practice proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, and immediately report any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to the Director
