About The Position

The firm is a leading manufacturer of Shampoo, Laundry Detergent, Adhesives and other Consumer Products This position is with the Adhesive Technologies business unit – where we empower our people to transform industries and provide our customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants and functional coatings. What you´ll do Leads engineering team supporting the company's top accounts in the consumer electronics market to develop new adhesives and processes to be best in class partner. Promotes a culture of learning, collaboration, and personal development. Mentor team members and support long-term career growth. Responsible for CapEx and drives continues improvements of the labs and capabilities to be future ready. Manages engineering labs, workflow assignments including prioritization and reporting to meet customer, internal and market needs and expectations. Ensures compliance with all company requirements (safety, legal), and relevant industry/customer specifications.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in science or engineering with 10 years of experience with adhesives and films/tapes materials used in consumer electronics devices.
  • Proven track record of guide, motivate, and develop a technical team.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience of leading at least team of 5+ engineers/scientist as a direct report.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for managing teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • The capacity to use agile methodologies and adapt to changing customer needs and market conditions.
  • The ability to lead the team and coordinate complex projects and assignment.
  • Familiarity with FEA, flow modeling CAD and lab automation technologies
