Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in science or engineering with 10 years of experience with adhesives and films/tapes materials used in consumer electronics devices.
  • Proven track record of guide, motivate, and develop a technical team. Minimum of 5 years of experience of leading at least team of 5+ engineers/scientist as a direct report.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for managing teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • The capacity to use agile methodologies and adapt to changing customer needs and market conditions. The ability to lead the team and coordinate complex projects and assignments.
  • Familiarity with FEA, flow modeling CAD and lab automation technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Leads engineering team supporting Henkel's top accounts in the consumer electronics market to develop new adhesives and processes to be best in class partner.
  • Promotes a culture of learning, collaboration, and personal development. Mentor team members and support long-term career growth.
  • Responsible for CapEx and drives continues improvements of the labs and capabilities to be future ready.
  • Manages engineering labs, workflow assignments including prioritization and reporting to meet customer, internal and market needs and expectations.
  • Ensures compliance with all Henkel requirements (safety, legal), and relevant industry/customer specifications.
