Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Production Engineering or related degree field.
• 4 years of experience in the job offered or related as Application Engineer, Process Engineer, Product Engineer, Project Engineer, Design Engineer or related occupation.
• Experience with development of automotive components including spring isolators and suspension bushings.
• Experience with FMEA, APQP, GD&T, and PPAP.
• Experience with cost analysis and problem solving methodology in the automotive industry (Ishikawa, 5 whys, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development of new projects within the market.
• Make technical presentations, trends and performances of new products.
• Clarify doubts from potential customers and meet their demands.
• Envision opportunities for closing new business.
• Manage activities involving the company's areas (sales, purchasing and manufacturing).
• Adjust product configurations to customer's needs.
• Ensure the achievement of sales targets for the aftermarket.
• Strengthen the relationship with customers through periodic contacts.
• Train customer's technical team and disclose new products.
• Maintain the profit margin of the products in operation.
• Analyze the price formation of the items and negotiate with internal areas.
• Contribute to the achievement of quality, environmental and program objectives.
• Perform other activities related to your work area and/or at the discretion of your immediate superior.
