Requirements

  • Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and two (2) years of related experience.
  • Work Experience. Two (2) years of experience must include: Java; J2EE; SOA; OOAD; OOP; JEE design; Eclipse IDE; Server-side application frameworks, including JSP, Servlet and Spring; ORMs, including Hibernate; Restful and SOAP-based web services, including JSON and XML; Unit testing frameworks, including Junit and Jest; SQL Data Store – Oracle; Working with Agile methodology; Angular; and Node and NPM. Experience must also include: JMS; Websphere Application Server; AWS; React; Docker; Kubernetes; and S3.

  • Responsibilities. Responsible for working with clients, product managers, architects, and software engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement impactful solutions that support companies with one to millions of employees. Work within a scrum team to bring designs and ideas to life for new or improved web applications. Start the day on a scrum call to prioritize and track work. Work on user stories to work within a sprint cycle. Developing and testing code as well as will be involved in the release activities. Utilize Java (Java 8 preferred) and have a firm grasp on Spring Boot, JavaScript, Angular and React. Employ web services, RESTful APIs, and open-source tools, such as Apache KAFKA. Each sprint cycle could have a heavy front-end focus, a heavy back-end focus, or a mix of both, utilizing experience with front-end, scripting, and back-end technologies. Work closely with the team to guide projects to success. Hands-on role designing, developing, debugging, and deploying software solutions leveraging expertise with code complexities. Balance the assigning of user stories through prioritization and consideration of the technical interests of each developer on the team.
