About The Position

CLA is currently seeking a Senior Developer to join our growing internal IT team. The Senior Application Developer is responsible for developing solutions that support business goals, with a focus on web-based frameworks. Candidates must have an advanced knowledge of .NET and the C# programming language, knowledge in front end JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular, and experience with Docker containerization. The Senior Developer possesses outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills along with strong communication skills.

Requirements

  • 3 years of application development and support working as a team member on multiple projects or applications.
  • Bachelor's Degree or experience acceptable in lieu of bachelor's degree.
  • Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
  • Deep expertise and hands-on experience with web applications, frameworks, and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, SASS, and API Development.
  • Experience with the development of .NET web applications and supporting technologies.
  • Experience of Front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, React, and AngularJS.
  • Experience working on containers (Docker).
  • Experience working with Azure environment, DevOps, SharePoint Online, Office 365.
  • Experience using a Database such as Postgres, SQL Server, mySQL or mongoDb.
  • Familiarity with coding and web standards, ESLINT, Accessibility Compliance and Responsive CSS design.

Responsibilities

  • Develop solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
  • Codes, tests, debugs, documents, maintains, and modifies computer programs of high complexity and risk.
  • Leads technical teams of developers to investigate, analyze, and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Perform unit testing and assist the BA/QA in defining test plans.
  • Perform coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solutions as well as aid in application maintenance, debugging, and upgrades.
  • Create or update code level documentation.
  • Lead in providing time estimates for project tasks and defining project tasks.
  • Complete project work within agreed upon deadlines.
