About The Position

David Weekley Homes is looking for experienced developers who want to share their knowledge and learn new skills in a fun, intense and challenging environment. While experience is appreciated, the ability to learn and apply new technologies is equally important if not more so. The position requires participation in daily Scrums, regular retrospectives, and iteration plannings, as well as architecture discussions and design decisions. Developers will write clean code, implement new features, fix bugs, and manage database schema migrations in a predominantly .NET stack using C#, Xamarin/Maui, and .NET APIs.

Requirements

• Senior or Lead level experience utilizing C#, .NET, and front end technologies
• An ability to solve complex problems, communicate clearly, and share a sense of urgency
• The capacity to thrive in a small, flexible and dynamic environment, contributing to a high-performance, low-stress corporate culture
• Knowledge of applicable design patterns and coding best practices
• git (or other distributed source code management tools) knowledge

Nice To Haves

• Agile (Scrum, Kanban) processes
• Domain Driven Design
• VueJS
• DevOps Pipelines and releasing to Apple/Google app stores
• NServiceBus or other Messaging platforms
• Azure
• Experience with Xamarin/Maui targeting both iOS and Android platforms

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily Scrums, regular retrospectives and iteration plannings, and other as-needed face-to-face, audio- and/or video-teleconferencing sessions
• Participate in architecture discussions, design decisions and provide input into all aspects of the system
• Write clean code with good nomenclature, sensible tests and comments when necessary
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and acceptance tests
• Implement new features and fix bugs in a predominantly .NET stack using C#, Xamarin/Maui, .NET APIs (both RESTful and GraphQL)
• Evolve databases and manage schema migrations in coordination with new features
