About The Position

The Application Developer - Senior serves as the lead of the DevOps Application Development/Sustainment Center of Operations, which includes the responsibilities of ensuring overall leadership of all Application Development/Sustainment for the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) Academic Network Labor Contract to administer, maintain, secure, and accredit the DLIFLC Academic Network which provides the IT environment for 100% of the DLIFLC teaching and instructing for all students, staff, faculty, and guests in a learning environment at the unclassified level.

Requirements

• BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years experience or substitute with AA/AS with 7+ years experience.
• IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification.
• 7 years of progressive experience in serving as an Application Developer in .NET.
• Experience with DevOps Methodologies, GitLab, and Agile Methodologies.
• Relevant Experience with Amazon, Microsoft, Google cloud services.
• Skills to include .NET, JAVA, SQL, MySQL, VDX, IIS, HTML5, Linux, Tomcat, Apache, SharePoint, iOS Development/Sustainment, PhP, WordPress.
• Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery and best DevOps practices, Agile Methodology, SDLC, and Release Management.
• Plan, install, maintain during or after-work hours, troubleshoot, and manage all AppDev servers and applications.
